Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Global Software Development SRL, a company incorporated in Romania (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating the PreviewDrop service (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PreviewDrop is a continuous deployment platform that automatically builds and deploys preview environments from GitHub pull requests and branches. The Service includes web application access, a REST API, GitHub App integration, and related tooling.

3. Accounts

You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth to use PreviewDrop. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any API keys generated within the Service. Notify us immediately at security@previewdrop.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account. Multi-user access within a team is governed by our team plan feature, not by credential sharing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Deploy malware, ransomware, or any malicious software.
• Conduct unauthorised penetration testing or DDoS attacks.
• Host content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates intellectual property rights.
• Circumvent plan limits or attempt to abuse free-tier resources.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary logic from the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written authorisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Plans & Billing

5.1 Subscription Plans

PreviewDrop offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Plan details, including pricing and feature limits, are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

5.2 Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in our refund policy.

5.3 Overages

If you exceed your plan's concurrent preview or project limits, new deployments will be queued and may fail until you upgrade or destroy existing previews. We will send a notification when you approach your limits.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation before being deleted.

6. Intellectual Property

The PreviewDrop platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

You retain all rights to your source code, deployment configurations, and other content you provide. By connecting a repository, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and process that content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the content of applications deployed through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PreviewDrop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, EU, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the GDPR and applicable EU consumer protection laws apply to users located in the European Economic Area and take precedence where required by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
